Happy New Year. So much has been going on. The bf proposed on New Year’s Eve, so I’ve been slowly easing into wedding planning. We had a quiet New Year’s Eve where the bf cooked: homemade pork rib roast with some vegetables and I made chocolate fondants served with ice-cream. I’d like to think the chocolate fondants were so good, that’s why the ring showed up 🙂
Here’s what the engagement ring looks like. The setting is the classic Tiffany setting with the 6 prongs and the diamond is almost the same size. I have to say I’m quite impressed with the bf’s choice of ring.
I don’t have a photograph of me wearing the ring because I just haven’t gotten around to it. I also believe some things are personal. Maybe when I’m a bit more comfortable, I’ll share a photo.
We haven’t set a date yet, but it will be an event in Malaysia mid next year, not Norway.
I do have a couple of New Year’s Resolutions, some of which are:
- Be healthy – Workout and eat as well as I can.
- Be positive – Don’t obsess on the things that I cannot change.
- Stay sane – I’m trying to plan a wedding with a lot of help from my family because I’m not physically there. I have a feeling it’s going to be a bit crazy at some point but I hope I won’t get stressed and annoyed and all that.
- Save – I don’t think we’ll be traveling much this year because there’s just so much to do. But let’s see how the year shapes up.
So, how’s your new year going so far? I hope the new year is starting out with lots of possibilities and opportunities for you 🙂
Congratulations 🙂 Good luck with your resolutions especially the second one.
